Named by the 2007 Guide to Italyís Restaurants published by L'Espresso as the best new restaurant of the year, the Trussardi alla Scala Restaurant, on the first floor of the Palazzo Trussardi alla Scala, is a new landmark for gourmet cuisine in Milan. After six months of study and renovation of the interior decoration, the menu and in general the whole atmosphere, this restaurant of extremely high quality opened in June.

Directed by the Chef Andrea Berton, whose curriculum includes names such as Alain Ducasse, Gualtiero Marchesi and the Enoteca Pinchiorri, the Trussardi alla Scala Restaurant looks on to the square of the same name, thanks to its large windows: an extraordinary position for an atmosphere that is characterised by the ìMilanese redî of the plaster walls, the parquet flooring, the comfortable leather armchairs and the impeccable white table settings.
The Menu, linked to the season, proposes dishes based above all on balanced and clean flavours thanks also to highly sophisticated cooking techniques, such as: Grilled scallops with ginger powder and peanut cream; “Risotto Milanese” with golden calf sweetbreads; Roast and braised spring lamb with fried potato, avocado and lime; Warm sphere of chocolate with coffee cream and chocolate ground.
The kitchen, made from a single block of stainless steel, is a technological gem with avant-garde working tools and is divided from the restaurant by a glass wall for the direct involvement of the guests who, if they so wish, can become the audience of the gourmet cuisine of the Trussardi alla Scala Restaurant.
The wine-cellar is also open to view and presents a selection of over 500 labels, including the most prestigious, but also others, from all the most important wine-growing areas of the world.
The Chef Andrea Berton offers a creative cuisine characterised by excellence: thanks to the choice of the best raw materials and the expert use of ingredients, he offers gastronomic creations that make a lunch or dinner at the Trussardi alla Scala Restaurant a unique experience.

With the Trussardi alla Scala Restaurant, Trussardi interprets the world of fine dining that is in perfect harmony with the values that have always distinguished the Maison of the Greyhound.
The restaurant is closed on Saturdays for lunch and on Sundays.
